InVideo is designed around describing what you want instead of manually building every part of a project. You can give the AI a concept, script, campaign brief, or filmmaking idea and let its agents develop the project.

The platform can handle tasks such as scripting, storyboarding, generating media, selecting models, and assembling the video. InVideo describes this as an agentic workflow rather than a simple one-shot video generator.

For more control, creators can work directly with individual AI models and then continue editing the generated content inside the timeline editor.

The editing agent can also analyze uploaded footage and perform tasks such as finding moments, cutting footage, and applying changes across multiple shots.

How InVideo actually works

Enter an idea, script, brief, or video concept. Let InVideo's AI agent understand the project. The agent creates the script and storyboard. AI models generate the required video, images, voice, and other media. InVideo assembles the generated assets into a video. Review the result and request changes using natural language. Use the timeline editor for manual adjustments when needed. Export the completed video.

InVideo's current agentic workflow can route projects across 200+ AI models, while users can also select models directly through the Agents & Models interface.

Pricing: is it worth the money?

InVideo currently uses a credit-based system for AI generation. Credits are consumed by AI agents, generative media, and model generation, while normal manual timeline editing does not consume AI credits.

Current individual plans shown by InVideo include:

Starter — $20/seat/month billed annually 400 credits per month.

Plus — $50/seat/month billed annually 2,000 credits per month.

Max — $100/seat/month billed annually 5,000 credits per month, with higher credit allocations also available.

The current pricing page also lists team/business options separately.

Credit usage varies significantly depending on the model, resolution, duration, and type of generation. For example, InVideo notes that different models can have substantially different credit costs, with video models generally charged according to duration and settings.

Plan credits reset on the renewal date and unused plan credits do not carry over. Additional credits can be purchased separately.
